Here at Porsche Columbus we aren't just in the business of selling high-quality German vehicles. We race them, too. Not only have we cooperated in sponsorships with JDX racing, but we've also competed in three racing events. In 2016, we won the PWC TC class with Corey Fergus driving a Porsche Cayman. In 2017 Corey brought us to second in the IMSA GT3 Cup Challenge. In 2018, we finished first in IMSA GT3 Cup Challenge with Trenton Estep. Both Corey and Trenton are brand ambassadors for Porsche Columbus and are great supporters of our current racing team.
Dan Sibille (Driver Car #17 – Porsche Sprint Challenge Series)
Dan has been an impassioned Porsche enthusiast for many years. He began his racing program in 2018 after a very successful career as a cybersecurity sales executive. Dan’s passion for Porsche Motorsports and racing began after he participated and successfully completed Porsche’s 911 GT3 Cup driver program at Barber Motorsports Park. He quickly developed his driving skills and racecraft over a two-year period as a driver in Porsche’s Trophy West series. Last year, he transitioned to the Porsche Sprint Challenge series and finished 4th in points. He recently purchased a 992 GT3 Cup and joined JDX Racing to race another full season in the Porsche Sprint Challenge series (Platinum Class) and is looking for another strong result this season!
Parker Thompson
Another racer from Canada, specifically the city of Red Deer in Alberta, Parker Thompson also got his start in karting back in 2009. In 2015, he competed in the U.S. F2000 National Championship. In 2018, he finished second in the Indy Pro 2000 Championship presented by Cooper Tires. We're excited to be bringing Parker and his natural driving ability to the Porsche Columbus racing program.
Porsche Columbus offers more than just world-class, high-quality German vehicles. We also race them. We’ve participated in three racing events and have worked with JDX racing in sponsorships. Since 2016, we’ve competed in racing events with drivers Corey Fergus and Trenton Estep, both of whom are brand ambassadors and dedicated supporters of our Porsche Columbus team. We won the PWC TC class with driver Corey Fergus in our Porsche Cayman in 2016 and Corey placed second in the 2017 IMSA GT3 Cup Challenge. Trenton Estep led us to a first place victory in the IMSA GT3 Cup Challenge the very next year in 2018.

"I'm so proud of this JDX Racing team! All season long we battled, and usually from behind. We worked, we studied, and we never quit. That takes great leadership. Jeremy and JoAnne Dale along with Harrison Brix aren't just the letters in JDX, they are the reason I have a career in Motorsports and a Championship today. Our partnership group with Kevin King at Porsche Columbus, Bill, Beth, and Michael Wappler at Surgere, everyone at Shell Tap-Up, Renier Construction, Jersey Mike's Subs, and SSi Artificial Lift, plus all of our people with boots on the ground for race days have shown a resounding commitment to our campaign. There is no doubt in my mind that we have earned this title on merit. I will never be able to thank Luke, Larry, Darryl, Dan, and the rest of the crew at JDX enough for their time away from families invested in the No.9's success."
